The Era Begins 06-29-07...
The
iPhone from Apple is the revolutionary tiny computer that doubles as a cell
phone and media center. It's screen is a sleek piece of glass that is
sensitive to the touch making it feel like it comes to life. Cool and sexy have
become a common description and we see why.
Price of Cool:
For $499 you get the 4Gb model and for $599 you get the 8Gb iPhone. More
storage is always better so why not go for the 8gig model? In each case
700 megs is used up by the preloaded software but that is okay since it includes
a bunch of features. The 8Gb model claims to be able to hold 1825 songs.
The price can seem steep for this must have gadget but it is worth every cent
based on all of the features. No need to carry a MP3 player, PDA,
Blackberry, media player in each pocket when you can grab this status symbol and
have it all!
Quick Facts:
- AT&T will be selling this phone in about 1800 stores US wide.

Geek's Take:
We have seen fads come and go in the gadget world. But it seems like
every few years Apple comes up with a great idea that ends up changing the
landscape in a product channel. I suppose time will tell, but at first
glance the iPhone seems to be yet another example of vision turning industry
standard.
All of us at IPhone Info Central will be keeping a close eye on the response
by the customers on how they react to the new phone. And we'll also be
keeping an even closer eye on what this product does to the information
technology sector overall. What are some of the spin-offs we can expect?
